In this policy we explain how and why we collect information, what we do with it and what controls you have over our use of it. From time to time, we add or change functions, features or products to our Web Site or add or change Services. (viii) If you participate in any of our live events (Ask Ari featuring Wolf, Ari’s Practice Groups, Cohort PrepGroups or similar), your likeness (audio and/or video), the questions you ask into the chat, comments you may provide to others etc. will become part of the audio and video recording we provide for these events. You hereby authorize CapCat Music Media, INC DBA arisbassblog.com and those acting pursuant to its authority a nonexclusive grant to:

(a) Record your video and audio likeness as well as chat contributions for Ari’s Practice Groups via zoom recording.

(b) You may choose to stay anonymous by using an anonymous screen name and putting only your arms and bass into the shot

(c) Use, reproduce, publish, republish, exhibit, edit, modify, or distribute, in whole or in part, these recordings in all media without compensation for any purpose that arisbassblog.com, and those acting pursuant to its authority, deem appropriate, including promotional or advertising efforts. These recordings may appear in a variety of formats and media now available to arisbassblog.com and that may be available in the future (e.g. print publications, video tapes, courses, membership sites, CD-ROM, Internet, mobile, digital).

I hereby release CapCat Music Media, INC and those acting pursuant to its authority from liability, claims, and demands for any violation of any personal or proprietary right I may have in connection with such use, including any and all claims for libel, defamation, or invasion of privacy. I understand that all such recordings, in whatever medium, shall remain the property of arisbassblog.com. I have read and fully understand the terms of this release.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to become a learner on our site, make a purchase, or participate in the courses, live events, Practice Groups or cohorts, you imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to unsubscribe with one easy click.

How do I withdraw my consent?

Log files/IP addresses
When you visit our Web Site, we automatically log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet) which is automatically recognized by our web server. We use IP addresses to help us administer our Web Site and to collect broad demographic information for aggregate use. We do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information.

Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Non-personal information
We may automatically collect non-personal information about you such as the type of internet browsers you use or the site from which you entered our Web Site. You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in providing an effective service on our Web Site.

Thinkific

Our courses (at righton.arisbassblog.com) and parts of our site are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with an online course creation platform that allows us to sell our product/services to you.

Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases, and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:

If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third-party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and related courses and its service providers.

Security

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
