✨ My Story: From Doubt to Discovery

I didn’t set out to be a bass player. In fact, for a long time, I didn’t even think I had the right to call myself a musician.

I started as a classical pianist and I was decent, but I heard music inside me that I needed to get out. I craved freedom. I wanted to improvise. But I was told not to tinker. At home, we only listened to classical music, and anything with drums was frowned upon. In Europe, there’s even a divide: ‘E-Musik’—serious music—and ‘U-Musik’—entertainment. Music, in this world, was boxed in, fixed, and written by distant masters.

Then one night, everything changed. I walked into a local jazz club and heard a band playing. What I saw and heard broke every rule I thought music had. It was alive. It had grit, spontaneity, deep groove, and—more than anything—it had expression. The musicians were talking to each other without words. They were risking something. And I wanted that. I needed that.

That night lit a fire. I didn’t just want to play music—I wanted to live it.

I started on keyboard in a band that later needed a bass player. I picked up the electric bass and never looked back. The groove, the feel, the power of those low frequencies—it was everything I had been missing. Bass became my voice.

In my small town, everyone said, “Go see Wolf.” He was the bass teacher. So I did. And that decision changed my life. Wolf didn’t just teach me how to play. He taught me how to practice. How to think music. How to connect to it with mind, heart, and body.

Eventually, we fell in love, got married, and spent decades developing and refining his method. I brought my own passion for teaching into the mix—founding a music school, studying learning science, and paying obsessive attention to what actually helps people grow.

Music became my lifeline. It helped me through self-doubt, depression, and the feeling of not belonging. It gave me connection, purpose, and a way to express everything I never had words for.

From all that, a method was born. Backed by experience, shaped by curiosity, and forged in real-life transformation. That method became a bestselling book. Then another. And now, it lives here.

I studied at the University of Music in Vienna and won one of only two spots in a competitive exchange program with the University of Miami. I made the U.S. my home, studied with heroes, toured the world with bands and as a solo artist, and played stages I once only dreamed of. And while those moments shaped me forever, it was never just about building a résumé or collecting credentials. It was about becoming who I was meant to be.

I know what it’s like to feel stuck or unsure of your musical path. Music helped me find my voice. If you’re ready to find yours—I’d be honored to help you get there.

From stage to studio, it’s the groove that guides me.

Helping one student at a time unlock their musical voice—
that’s where the magic happens.
